KIΝTSUGI is the result of co-creation of artists working in different techniques. Photography and abstract painting come together to tell the stories of 9 brave women who showed their pain and vulnerability. Like broken and reassembled cups with golden "scars" in the Japanese art of kintsugi.
The artists, together with the heroines of the project, raise such complex and still taboo topics in our world as the place of a woman in the professional community, domestic violence, mental and physical health and ways of support in critical situations.
The exhibition presents objects that combine the technique of photography and abstract painting. The three-layered nature of the objects and the texture of the materials reflect the deep and external state of the woman at different stages of the traumatic experience. You can also get acquainted with the stories honestly told by the heroines and inspirers of the project.
